A small store.
A long story.
Finneman's has been part of the daily routine in Odyssey for longer than some of our customers can remember.
Step through the door and you'll find the basics, the extras, and a few things you didn't know you came in for. The shelves are full, the floor's seen a lot of footsteps, and nobody's in much of a hurry to make the place look new.
It's the sort of market where a quick stop can turn into a chat with somebody you know. Just the way a neighborhood grocery ought to be.
Say hello to Joe.
Owner Joe Finneman has kept things running here for years. A World War II veteran with a dry sense of humor and quite a few stories of his own, Joe isn't one to make a big fuss. Stop in and say hello — but don't be surprised if he puts you to work finding something on the shelf.
